They got a slap on the wrist. At almost 20 years old, you are old enough to know better. 13 year olds, maybe. But almost 20? You deserve to have the book thrown at you.

You are both twenty years old. Why on earth did you do this? Not to have any respect for anyone's property? Part of the probation should be that both of you get and maintain employment to pay this money back. You should not expect your families to cover for you.The party is over and you need to learn what it means to be a real man about life, your family, and your community.

Six months and an alternative program? WTF, like they will be able to pay $50,000 each in restitution? Ya, I see these two as to stupid to make that in their lifetime. They should get time based on $50/day until restitution is made.

It's fortunate for these two punks that they didn't stop to give the neighbor a "haircut", they would be 35 before they ever got out of jail.
