February 19, 2013

The treatment of brine wastewater from fracking has become a point of contention between the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Patriot Water Treatment LLC, a Lisbon-based company that......

Why is ODNR not at odds with Lupo and all his various endeasvors? I haven't seen any articles about Patriot dumping like Lupo did. I guess that Lupo knows what palm to grease.

ODNR enjoys being spanked, and is suffering from management misconduct.

Patriot should get in contact with all of the other businesses throughout Ohio that are also being targeted in a similar manner by ODNR, and all should then build a much stronger case...

You got that Wright!!! I'll say it again..... The Mafia is a shadow of it's former self. Now we elect it and appoint it. The "pay to play" programs they have put in place are nothing more than legalized coercion. They may not kill you or burn your business down but if you don't pay up they have several other ways to ruin you. All in the name of making their gang bigger and more far reaching. Have you ever heard the heavy handed tactics that these organizations use? It's insane that we the people have let this unfold in front of our own eyes!

"which require a fee to be paid to ODNR, she said". That sentence in the 4th paragraph pretty much sums up what this is all about. Just like the bogus sewer fees being forced on homeowners in Trumbull county. $$$

They feed them to puppies and kittens.

Why would you ask that question on this forum? The answer is never going to satisfy you but maybe just maybe you could do some research first and then come on here and tell us the sky is falling.

What does Patriot do with all the chemicals it extracts from the water? How are those chemicals then disposed of?

Js and warrenproud.........are you sure you are commenting on the right article???? What both of you are saying seems to be evidence of a really good imagination. Maybe you should stick to the comics and leave these complex topics to the adults.

The ODNR is out of control, They don't have any proof there is a problem with the water after it is treated, I think they have already tested it and didn't find anything. I think they are just trying to get the fees from the injection wells. Some one needs to stop them. I would rather see the water treated and not put in injection wells so we don't end up with more earthquakes.

Either we want oversight or we want to be left at the mercy of owners making a profit by endangering our environment and lives ! Apparently there is a problem with Patriot and if so SHUT the down permenantly ...DON'T RISK OUR LIVES just to say we employ people and Warren needs the business ..We need to be sure there isn't a problem and this proves ODNR is not convinced there isn't .
