On site inspectors that are appointed by the state or county, and paid for by the gas and oil company's are a step in the right direction. Those inspectors need to be rotated weekly, so they don't become to friendly with the operators on site also. Tracking devices installed on all vehicles hauling brine or waste from drill sites, would also stop this from happening again. Big trucking company's have them on all their trucks, so they know exactly where they are everyday. They know where the truck stops at and how long it is stopped. An the driver has to notify their dispatcher that he has stopped and why. Simple solution, just needs to be put in place.

Thank God for government rules and regulations. They need to be more strictly enforced and new ones need to be imposed when necessary.

Many "business men" don't think rules and regulations apply to them if it decreases their bottom line. They need to be proven wrong.

Acquaintances owned a trucking business. On their property they dumped hazardous waste and were caught. They still don't think they should have been fined. Rich guys don't think the rules apply to them. Scum.

The same goes for tax evaders who hide their money in foreign countries. Scum.
