I bought this paper at a store that also sells lottery chances in about 40 different forms or "games". In the parking lot is a small drive-thru that sells cigarettes and lottery tickets as well.I am often behind folks who appear as though they do not own a cooking vessel in which to urinate, yet they are purchasing 8 to 25 or in some cases 50-dollars worth of gaming chances sanctioned by the state. The "winning numbers" appear during our nightly news,in our newspapers and are announced on the radio. It appears to be a pretty big deal to know which numbers were randomly picked, to be announced during the news I mean.If it makes money for the state, then its "ok". Ours does not operate as it does in states like Georgia where lottery money is added TO fully funded schools. Our schools use the money FIRST to pay for upgrades and building needs only after this do they get to use state budgeted monies (or so it has been explained to me).
