What a circus our media has become. So many 24 hour a day media channels that they have to fight for something to fill the space. This case has gotten so much attention that I believe the judge is going to be afraid to do anything that isn't on the up and up. The media is rarely allowed in juvenile court of this type of crime. Tell the media they can have the transcripts once the girls name is removed. The only person really that needs to and face these boys are their accuser under the law. Don't victimize the victim again.

keep it closed for the sake of the victim! But what I want to know is why are they going thru the juvinile trial? If they had shot and killed someone they would be concidered adults!

WP, again, I hope this is closed for the sake of the victim. I guarantee the defense attorneys will claim she was a willing participant, say that she wanted it, question her about her past sexual activity, and completely paint her as a slut. That's how they do it in rape cases. SHE will be on trial as much as the two who did it to her, and she should not have to face that kind of public humiliation for something entirely not her fault.

The media is not interested in justice. They want the gory tidbits to embellish and sensationalize for ratings. This is JUVENILE court. The victim is a child. The judge should designate ONE respected reporter to represent the media. The rest of the sharks can get their feeding frenzy how they usually do... rumors and speculation.

No. The media would make a circus out of it like they do everything else.

Rape is rape. No closed trial coverup in Stupidville so that the victim gets the justice she deserves.
