There's nothing morally wrong with having an abortion, and the tone of this column reminds me of the movie "Saved!"

Comparing the Newtown shooting to abortion was also very tasteless and unnecessary, in my opinion.

Part 2: Lucky for me, I have a large family with many older cousins that wanted me to be mature and protected during the confusing and exciting changes I was experiencing. My cousin took me to PPH,I had never heard of it before. I didn’t know what to expect, and felt awkward and nervous. The staff embraced me as if I were their own child, I couldn’t believe how much there was to know about contraceptives and STI’s. Thanks to them I continue to maintain a safe and healthy sexuality. I don’t think it’s anyone’s intention to go through an abortion and still many do occur every year. As a society we need to make sure that our youth has access to contraceptives, STI treatments and preventions. I thought it in tenth grade and still believe that PPH should be incorporated into our high schools. I anticipate that a small private nurse station available two day a weeks to any student concerned with sexual activities could promote early understanding and applications of healthy sexual habits.

I am shocked to see that you have decided to use an out dated distasteful quote to defend your Christian beliefs and pro-life views. I will continue to trust that our state representatives will remain true to the Roe v. Wade decision and protect a Woman’s Right to choose when she feels mentally, physically and financially ready for motherhood. Planned Parenthood has been providing our community with vital reproduction health care resources. They are educating men and woman about sex to make informed, responsible, independent decisions about their bodies, despite age, race, and religion. Planned Parenthood is not what it once was, it’s better; providing services to anyone that walks through the doors… not just minorities. I remember losing my virginity, I was 16, and although sexuality is a natural human instinct, I recall being too embarrassed to share such private information with my mother. My mom gave the “birds and the bees” talk years earlier… she even drew pictures. Contin

God bless you and the work you do to help these women heal. 55 million is an incredible number considering how easy it is to get contraceptives. Please keep it up!

Here's a quote from the founder of Planned Parenthood: On blacks, immigrants and indigents: "...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
