Take your kid to work day? Yep, this is a profession the kids can really take pride in.

The girl grew up in girard, graduated from there. Her brother was in the news for a pretty well known crime in girard a few years ago, but she has never been in any trouble. I was seriously shocked when I read this, if she hadn't been caught so red-handed, I would have thought there was some misunderstanding. Either her life took a drastic turn for the worse recently, or she was really good at hiding her troubles.

That doesn't really matter now though. I don't care what your history is, if you involve your kids like this even once, you don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Ya bulldog I realized after I wrote it that I was wrong but if they had not been caught the gun would of been in the car. Regardly they are trash and their children did not belong there. I wonder if the parents were charged with chid endangerment because that is the worst part of this crime.

This guy worked for me and I thought the same thing but then started to put 2 and 2 together and learned the hard way. We fired him and we to thought they were good people from another state just trying to make it. It goes to show ya that you can not judge a book by its cover

These people should have their kids removed from their control immediately and they should receive max sentences for child endangerment.

Then these "parents" should charged, and, if convicted, be given max sentences on the home burglaries.

Or we could just pass out another bunch of probations and wonder why their kids will someday join the family business.

We refuse to use swift and sure punishment and we wonder why so many people figure out that crime pays.

GlendaG, although these people are scum, there was no loaded .38 in the car. Go back and read again.

People like this are not human. They are beyond scum. I just wonder how long until the system forgives them and their kids are returned to them for more education of the low life way.

They were my neighbors for about a year. This is a SAD situation. I'm outraged at what they have done. They came across as very nice people. I let my 2yr old daughter play with their son and even bought them baby gifts when they had their daughter last summer. You would have never thought they would be capable of doing such a thing. The wife lied to me on numerous occasions about how her husband was innocent when he was fired from his job for stealing and was accused by neighbors for stealing...I pitied her and thought she was telling the truth. She was lying the whole time. WHAT TRASH!!! I'm glad they got caught and are moved out of our neighborhood. I just feel horrible for the innocent babies.

What a mess guess they were teaching the children the family business. Bet they are out already and back at it. I hope that someone steps up and takes them children they could of been shot there was a .38 loaded in the vehicle. This is so ignorant to involve your children in such a horrible crime. Thank God for the neighbor if only all neighbors were so observant. Cudos to the neighbor.

Depending on their rap sheet, which mind you would have to be extensive. They'll be back on street in no time. The should loose the children until otherwise proven parent worthy.

After they have their day in court both should be taken to the nearest hospital and sterilized. Society does not profit from parasitic slim.

This is another good example of the need for a three strike and out law in Ohio.
