While the Tribune has a right to express its opinions even ad infinitum; perhaps it could do better if local governments simply turned over their authority to the newspaper. Why? With so many outstanding insights into municipal and county government management, the Tribune could have already solved countless problems locally; or so it would seem.

The building department is all about nothing anyway in this city. It actually does little good for the city. Just look around at all the falling down buildings and abandoned homes in our city that have had no action from the building department. Yes, combine this waste of money service with the county.

What would happen to the illustrious "Tanneyhill" if this were to happen, isn't he the main reason why many businesses refuse to come to the city of Warren, I know 2 past businesses that LEFT due to the hoops that Warren & Tanneyhill made them jump through, they moved and went to the county "outside the city limits".

Many departments the city's have could be handled at the county level. Issues come in to play when the cities want to have rules that are different from the counties. Most are ridiculous. I still can't rap my head around the idea that Warren won't let the county take over their health department. Another waist of money. Warren is not the matropolous it once was. Time to reduce wasteful spending and spend money were it is needed. Safety services. Use the tax that was voted for safety services ON SAFETY SERVICES.
