I know an individual who received a controversial experimental flu shot prior to a deployment with the military. He has not had the flu or even a head cold since. Makes you wonder what advancements our government has made that will never become public.

Before you make an absurd accusation like that, please explain the government's motive for covering up the cure for any disease. The government makes no money on hospitalization or the sale of meds; in fact, for people on public assistance, medical expenses cost the government. It costs the government when government workers call in sick. There is no rational basis for your statement.

When did rationality become requisite to issuing a comment on these posts???

I'm just stating the facts. You're a fool if you don't think the government keeps certain technology and advancements from the public for whatever reason. I remember when gps became public. By then it was old technology in the military. Cure the common cold/flu and drug companies will be hurting. Dr visits will diminish. I'm not into the government conspiracy thing, but sometimes you wonder.

Help stop the spread of disease; if you are sick please stay home!

Please tell me how ANY of what you said would hurt the government, thereby causing them to withhold a cure for ANY disease.

Today, any 12 year old with a cell phone has GPS technology, but when it was new and only the military had it, it was a huge tactical advantage over any foreign enemy that did not have it. That is why things like GPS are kept under cover. Again, give me any reason that any cure for any disease would be--by the government.

Do you know how many people are on public assistance today? Do you know how many BILLIONS the government spend on medical care for them? Please think rationally before you make statements.

Sorry to get on your case. I just got done debating with my half-insane cousin, who thinks we never landed on the moon and the government created AIDS to wipe out gays (and for any of you who believe that, think--"Hey, let's create and unleash an incurable fatal disease and release it into the gay community, knowing that there is NO WAY it could EVER get into the straight community!")

So my apologies if I came on a little too hard. Still burning from my conversation with my cousin.

I wonder why there is always a flu epedemic right at the very point that everyone is taking the flu shot? Ummm

Okay, I'll do it. I certainly hope that I get a better looking nurse sticking me with the needle.
