I think Warren needs to do "one more study first" I mean all the "others" have been implemented and have been successful, haven't they??

The pride of any city is it's downtown area. This is the area that most visitors see and when it's dilapidated it doesn't do much for the city's image. I think trying to revitalize the downtown area is an excellent start. We are the county seat and our city deserves a vibrant downtown area. Sure, there's a lot of other areas that are also in need and in time they will get attention too. Please be selective in what you allow to enter our downtown area. We have learned the hard way in the past ....

This RAC thing is a bunch of citizens and a couple councilpeople. They came up with this list. They will be responsible for enacting and pushing for the ten items.

There is NOTHING to stop any of the whiners here from getting together, coming up with their own list of things and pushing for support from the mayor. Which is basically what happened here.

Personally, my plan is to turn the former Austin Village Plaza into a large scale family mission. Might be room for Valley Counseling there too. The zombies who go to those places can sweep up the guts from the windmill. I have a meeting with the Mayor and Mike Keys Thursday morning about it.

People power in action!!!!

Well, "feuz", the the RAC is not a city entity. It is comprised of neighborhood leaders from all over the city.

Did you read this?

The bike trail and Mahoningside Property are not in "downtown".

Since you have a big mouth on you, I'm sure you've attended plenty of meetings. You should have spoken up more then and asked for a concentration of projects for all over the city.

And, like the ignorant morons who thought thinking about massage parlors was taking away from enforcement of more serious crimes, you are wrong in thinking that these things are all anyone is doing in the city for the foreseeable future. Believe it or not, various people and entities can do this stuff, while they and other take care of things you mentioned.

If the condos are as big of a hit as the amp why not? They have bullet proof glass available.

The Washington Street area clean up has already begun and won't stop until the places are torn down and there is no place left to hide.

Clean up the Washington St area before implementing your proposed projects and you'll make a major dent for the better of all things to come. The elimination of these infested havens should be our first priority. Second, no more business losers partaking in a business that serves alcohol ......... period.
