These numbers are a joke. The unemployment it half of the US and because the people are not looking for jobs due to their benefits expiring the government thinks they are not considered unemployed. I think that 25 percent of the people in the intercity have no job don't want a job and have never been on unemployment because of our great welfare system. I know so many women that have 6 and 7 children and have collected welfare their entire life and live is nice homes and drive around in nice cars with gold chains and designer clothes on but hey thats what America is all about. Maybe we need to cut the welfare checks and make the lifers live in a apartment that the working person has to live in due to all the taxes they are paying and have them eat at the soup kitchen and maybe we need to open up the old schools and teach parenting skills and how to become a productive being in society.

Aid applications? These so-called aid applications recipient's may become future members of Obama's legions of voters, living off the hard labor of the common man.

This generational welfare is becoming the American culture, no wonder for the First time in the history of America, the majority of people believe our best days are behind us.

Just Google "how do I qualify..." and be amazed at the extensive listings.

Why would these folks want to re-enter the work force when the comfort level for staying at home is so high?

We create a monster then act surprised when people take advantage of it?
