Wow to consider that we both were in that same bible club in the small town of Troy township. Then went to that same church that cared so much and still does. People reaching people what a novel idea. Christ says if I set you free ye shall be free indeed. I have lived my life to help others come to that place of personal freedom because for me,someone invested in this kid who stills see life threw a kids eyes. Thanks for the article Martha.

Volunteer and charitable contributions to help our citizens goes a lot further than government hand outs Case in point. Look at the Warren Family Mission. There is no government funding there. They run a tight ship, nothing is wasted.

Then there is Washington Square on Washington Avenue. They service alot of Veterans and that is my first stop to help my fellow Vet's. Not sure of the extent of government funding other than housing the vets.

Anytime I have input into where people can donate excess possessions I send them to one of those two places BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY OPERATE..
