Train teachers to see student warning signs

A new Ohio law requiring that both public and private school teachers be trained in recognizing students who may be considering suicide, and in doing something about it, is an excellent idea....

And we pay for this how? By slashing local mental health budgets, teacher pay and state universities who are responsible for training these folks? Nice gesture Trib, but it's mere window dressing disguised to confuse the reader as to your true agenda.

And the Trib, Liberals and lawyers will be in line to criticize/sue the teacher who reports a possible troubled teen for violating their rights. This is another no win for the teachers. MOST teachers know who these kids are now and there is little they can do about it.
