Just because that worked and WASN'T challenged doesn't mean there IS a process for repeal.

NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION.

WILL NEVER HAPPEN FOR THE SECOND.

NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION.

NO PROCESSS.

If you think so, then point to it, little lady.

What's wrong?

Can't?

That's you.

U instead of the "A."

"OK. Maybe I was being a little harsh."

No doubt like your breath and face.

"I have a new idea anyway, one that calls for a 100% tax on any gun/bullet sold in America. "

How about we just don't let anyone that doesn't pay taxes have ANY rights.

Then you can shut your hole and we'll all be better.

You should be glad we allow you anything.

OK. Maybe I was being a little harsh.

Maybe the guns need to stay where the sun DOES shine.

I have a new idea anyway, one that calls for a 100% tax on any gun/bullet sold in America.

The funds generated will be used to hire more police, so that a trained, armed guard may be posted at any place where people gather.

AND my idea has the added benefit of being, in addition, a jobs bill, and jobs are sorely needed in America!

Two-fer-the-price-of-one! A win/win situation all 'round! The gun lovers get to continue their fetishistic love affair with firearms, and the general public can attend, with increased peace of mind, their favorite mall, or theatre, or school, or church, secure in the knowledge that their right to life is a little bit more protected.

How can you argue widdat?

"(You need to shove yer freaking gunns up your freaking asssses ---- maybe you'll find fullfillment in that.)"

Nice talk!

your post spoke volumes about the level of effort to openly and fairly debate an issue that has way more than two distinct sides.

No common ground to be found with you, is there?

Sadly, you appear to think so little of the first and second amendment rights of others. Unless one is in lock-step with your expert opinion, that is.

Perhaps you might more easily embrace the 5th amendment - the right to remain silent.

But don't think for one minute that Americans are going to be intimidated into siting down, shutting up, or going away based on your say so.

Have a nice day.

Paul: (or anyone)

What is YOUR definition of an "assault weapon"?

What is the legal definition of an "assault weapon"

How many causalities have been attributed the these "assault weapons" since the sunset of the "assault weapon" ban in 2004 as compared to causalities from other types of weapons?

Do you really think that the bad guys and those with mental disabilities will turn their stuff in?

Or is it just possible that this is all a knee jerk reaction -do SOMETHING, even if its wrong - resulting in taking Constitutional rights and property from good guys who have broken no law and which will not really solve anything while bypassing the real cause, the reasons for the mental failures of the actual killers?

Just askin'

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a Sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. ...Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and Grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better." ---SENATOR barakus obamus, march 2006.

he has raised the ceiling 4 times since beginning president. by his own words he is a complete and utter failure. LOL

They don't care about lives daniel! they want to take away deterants to their agenda. Wake your dumbass up you follower and start being an individual instead of a member of a flock of retards.

In 2005, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 445, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 605. In 2006, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 438, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 618.

According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

This is an interesting fact, particularly amid the Democrats' feverish push to ban many different rifles, ostensibly to keep us safe of course.

However, it appears the zeal of Sens. like Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) is misdirected. For in looking at the FBI numbers from 2005 to 2011, the number of murders by hammers and clubs consistently exceeds the number of murders committed with a rifle.
