Arriving for the last few matches of the day is like showing up to a basketball game in the fourth quarter. It’s not like LeBron James saves all his high-flying and extravagant dunks for the last 12 minutes. Sure, to someone who doesn’t understand wrestling, that sounds like a logical time to check out the event. The finals are when the top wrestlers in each weight class decide their spot on the podium, but the road to that point is the most grueling and, many times, suspenseful part of the tournament.
