Review: NFL Now is a must for football fans

August 12, 2014 - Chris Pugh
NFL Now has been a nice new app to get ready for the new football season.

The app, available online and on iPhone and Android phones as well as online streaming devices, offers plenty of free video with highlights and news from the NFL Network.

Officials say there will be 4,800 minutes of video from each team per week during the season.

For $1.99 a month, you can subscribe to the app's paid option, which gives instant highlights from games, a feature which sounds similar to the league's popular RedZone Channel, as well as additional video, including back seasons of "Hard Knocks" and other football video.

You can also set highlights from your favorite NFL teams as well as being able to track your fantasy football players.

If you love the NFL, the NFL Now app looks to be a great way of following the league without having to subscribe to cable.
