Tennis Channel adds live streaming app

June 15, 2014 - Chris Pugh
The Tennis Channel has an answer for those who can't get enough tennis.

The network recently released Tennis Channel Plus, an online subscription service that offers hundreds of hours of live tennis, including ATP World Tour, WTA, Davis Cup and Fed Cup matches from 45 tournaments.

Cost of the channel is $9.99 per day, or $59.99 per season, which runs through May 2015.

The network offers an app which allows viewers to access on iOS and Android devices.

The move by the Tennis Channel, which follows similar moves by the WWE and Major League Soccer, indicates that standalone live video streaming of more sports events could be coming sooner rather than later.
