Songs of Christmas: All Dave Grohl edition

December 3, 2013 - Andy Gray
If you're like me, you've probably been thinking, "You know what would make this Christmas special? Hearing Nirvana sing a Christmas carol."

And the only thing that would make it better? "Watching them sing it while holding Barbie-sized paper cutouts of a drag queen."

Well, folks, it's a Christmas miracle. Click the first link to see Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Warren native Dave Grohl sing a snippet of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." It apparently was recorded for some RuPaul special. That's whose cutouts they are holding up, and RuPaul can be heard off-camera.

It's amazing what can be found by typing "Nirvana Christmas" into a search engine.

For another taste of holi-Dave, click the second link to hear Grohl, Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead and Billy Gibbons of ZZTop team up for that Christmas rock favorite "Run Rudolph Run."
