Trace comes to Covelli Centre for holidays

September 9, 2013 - Andy Gray
Trace Adkins will bring his Christmas show to the Covelli Centre on Dec. 4.

The tour will coincide with the release of a Celtic-influenced Christmas album, “The King’s Gift,” set for release Oct. 29.

According to the press release, Adkins will alternate between fireside storytelling and performances of classic carols like “We Three Kings,” “Silent Night” “Little Drummer Boy” and other while accompanied by a 12-piece ensemble featuring traditional instruments and female vocalists.

The concept is similar to the Epcot Candlelight Processional that Adkins hosts annually at Disney World.

Tickets are $52, $42 and $32 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 13 through Ticketmaster.
