Practice squad finalized

September 2, 2013 - Mike McLain
CLEVELAND -- The Browns put the finishing touches on their eight-man practice squad, although changes are always made throughout the course of the season.

Players named were receiver Jasper Collins of Mount Union, defensive back Kip Edwards of Missouri, defensive back Darius Eubanks of Georgia Southern, defensive back Terrence Frederick of Texas A&M, receiver Tori Gurley of South Carolina, defensive back Julian Posey of Ohio University and defensive back Jamoris Slaughter of Notre Dame.

Gurley and Slaughter were in camp with the Browns. Slaughter was picked in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

These moves complete the biggest wave of transactions accompanied with final roster cuts last Saturday. The Browns still need to add a kicker following the release of Shayne Graham and Brandon Bogotay.
