Details for the FBI's sudden appearance at Pilot Flying J headquarters in Knoxville remain sketchy, other than what CEO and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said during a press conference.
Haslam said that tax invasion wasn't the reason why the FBI had search warrants to enter the company's headquarters Monday. Apparently the issue has to with rebates an unknown number of customers feel they deserved.
Haslam said Monday that he will cooperate fully with the FBI investigation. From the beginning he stated that he was unaware of any wrongdoing.
Haslam plans to travel to Cleveland to catch the end of the current three-day minicamp being conducted by first-year coach Rob Chudzinski.
Browns CEO Joe Banner and general Mike Lombardi will conduct a pre-draft pres conference Thursday. It will be the first time Lombardi has spoken publicly since he was name to the post in January.
