tamikg;;HELLO they were all in the SAME building and yes they were very good. Obviously you are not a native. idiot
I personally like the new restaurant Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Restaurants in the valley are a cycle. They come and go. Same with car dealerships.
Drove down 422 in February and I was floored by all the blight on the strip. I remember as a kid that being a pretty happening place. All the car dealerships and restaurants are gone!
Honorable mention to New York Music. That was my go-to place for drum equipment.
There needs to be some serious community re-investment on the strip.
Obviously Imback2cu isn't a local native, or they would know these were all different (and great!) restaurants in our area. The El Rio and Abruzzi's 422 are especially missed. At least we can still get Bob Abruzzi's hot peppers in oil at the local Farmer's Markets and craft shows!
El Rio, 422 and Living room were all used the same building; once again a salute to the bizarre cartoonist.
I still miss the great meals at D & S Steak Ranch, Family owned and operated by the Donotios and Salvatos of Warren, OH.This restaurant was across from the Eastwood Mall in the area of where Sherwin Williams Paint Store is today.
