Rough start

September 23, 2012 - Mike McLain
CLEVELAND -- The Browns started slowly against the Buffalo Bills but rallied to trail, 14-7, at halftime on a Trent Richardson touchdown run.

The Bills scored first on a 9-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick to T.J. Graham. The Bills went up 14-0 when C.J. Spiller took a pass on a middle screen and went 32 yards for a touchdown.

The Browns scored on a 6-yard run by Richardson.

The Bills lost Spiller in the first half with what what appeared to be a left shoulder injury. Spiller didn't return.

With Fred Jackson out because of a knee injury, the Bills had to go to their third choice at running back, Tashard Choice.
