| | Spingsteen plans fall date in PittsburghJuly 27, 2012 - Andy GrayAccording to Backstreets magazine’s website, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play Pittsburgh on its fall tour, which should be announced officially next week. The itinerary includes an Oct. 27 show at Consol Energy Center. Tickets will go on sale Aug. 17 and expect prices just below $100. After a series of European concerts, Springsteen returns to the U.S. next month for outdoor shows in several cities. Cleveland was included on the first leg of the U.S. tour, and I have to say it was one of the better Springsteen shows I’ve seen (and I’ve been to more than 20). The 25-song set clocked in just a couple minutes less than three hours, and the 62-year-old Springsteen was a running, jumping, singing, guitar-playing, crowd-surfing monster for every single minute of it. The European shows have been even longer with the band playing some of the longest sets in its history Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
