Country remains big draw at Covelli

Country acts continue to bring crowds to the Covelli Centre. Saturday’s Eric Church concert was the fourth sell out at the Youngstown arena in 2012.

The other three sellouts were country acts Miranda Lambert and Sugarland and the Monster Truck show (and, let's be honest, there’s some overlap in the fan base for monster trucks and country music).

According to Eric Ryan, executive director of the Covelli Centre, “The energy inside the arena was incredible and to see another sell-out in Youngstown, Ohio, was equally incredible. The community continues to support our facility and because of this, we are able to get quality shows.”
