McCoy is at the team facility today and is making progress, according to coach Pat Shurmur. He hasn't been cleared to practice by the team's medical staff.

"He's much better and he feels better and doing more," Shurmur said. "Until he's cleared to play he can't."

Wallace took the majority of snaps at Wednesday's practice and will like get the call.

Receiver Jordan Norwood is going through the same process as he come back from a concussion.

Offensive tackle Tony Pashos missed practice with a physical ailment.

Shurmur said that he won't tell players to retaliate against Steelers linebacker James Harrison for his helmet-to-helmet hit on McCoy. He said the best way to retaliate is to win every assignment.

What he doesn't want to see happen is an all-out brawl.
