Guns N' Roses, welcome to the Yo'

Guns N’ Roses, which likely will be part of the next induction class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will perform at the Covelli Centre as part of its first U.S. tour in five years.
The concert is scheduled for Dec. 7.
Of course, these days Guns N’ Roses is lead singer Axl Rose and his current backing band – DJ Ashba (guitar); Dizzy Reed (keyboards); Tommy Stinson (bass), formerly of The Replacements; Richard Fortus (guitar); Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (guitar); Chris Pitman (keyboards); and Frank Ferrer (drums).
The press release promises a two-and-a-hour set featuring all of the band’s greatest hits. Guns headlined the final night on the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil, playing for 75,000 people on Oct. 2.
The band was among the nominees announced last month for consideration for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and it is expected to be one of the five actsthat will be part of the class of 2012.
Tickets are $75, $59.50 and $45 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 14 through Ticketmaster. However, an online presale is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 13. The presale password is: Covelli.
