Everything's fine

August 1, 2011 - Mike McLain
BEREA -- Day three of Browns' training camp went well -- which is to say there were no injuries.

Rookie tight end Jordan Cameron did go down with leg cramps on punt coverage. He stayed on the ground for a couple of minutes and then walked to the locker room with a slight limp.

Second-year running back Montario Hardesty was given an light work load, but nothing is wrong with the injury-prone player. Players coming off major injuries are often given an occasional down day to rest their bodies. Hardesty had knee surgery early last season.

Receivers Joshua Cribbs and Carlton Mitchell were held out of work to heal injuries. Cribbs' knee stiffened in Sunday's practice. Mitchell suffered a shoulder injury.

Colt McCoy hit a wide open Demetrius Williams at the 10 for a touchdown. No defender was within 20 yards on Williams. Covering that side of the field on a pass play of 45 yards were cornerback Coye Francies and safety Ray Ventrone.

There's still no sign of defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, who was acquired in a trade for a fifth-round draft choice last Saturday. Shurmur said there's nothing to talk about regarding Bunkley.
