DETROIT -- Nick Sorensen of the Browns was taken off the field after suffering what appeared to be an injury to head-and-neck area.
Sorensen, who was hurt on kick coverage, remained on the field for several minutes. He was strapped to a stretcher and taken ot the locker room, but he never gave the thumbs-up signal to indicate to family members that he was okay.
Neal Gulkis, director of public relations, said that Sorensen had movement in all extremities. Sorensen was taken to an area hosptial for further tests.
The injury occurred when Sorensen ran head-on into Caleb Campbell of the Lions. Sorensen remained motionless on the field for several minutes as medical personnel from both teams worked on him.
