We reap what we sow as Americans

DEAR EDITOR:

The tragedies in Sandy Hook, Conn., Parkland, Fla., and multiple other places, feed the debate on how to effectively stop school violence.

The anti-gun lobby wants to limit the sale of certain weapons. This may be helpful, but won’t pull the root of the problem out.

The battle is not against flesh and blood, but against hosts of evil in heavenly places. When the country opened the door to legalized abortion, we allowed spirits of violence and murder to rampage in schools using troubled, unsteady people as tools.

Repealing legalized abortion would cage these evils again and contain this upsurge in violence.

We reap what we sow as a nation. When we sow murder upon infants in the womb, we reap a harvest of violence and murder in our schools.
