Consider nature before it’s too late

DEAR EDITOR:

We have all heard the stories of the giant who destroyed everything in his path. Has the giant returned, trying to destroy without concern or care what is under his feet?

Pouring cement into waters full of living creatures or tearing down trees with nests?

We should be teaching our children to appreciate nature and the living things around us. Use your money to clean up broken buildings and structures that have fallen through the years, instead of destroying virgin land that has survived many years.

Too many have destroyed the world’s gifts for glory, profit and greed, only to end in a loss for the world and the future of our children.

Nature cannot speak for itself. We who love nature ask you to please think about what you are doing before it is too late.
