Second Amendment should be protected

Good grief, another mass shooting, and in a house of God no less!

It was just a few weeks ago that we saw hundreds shot at a concert in Las Vegas, and now in Texas. Where will it end?

Unfortunately, it will not end by pounding your fists on the table; and demanding stricter gun control is not the answer.

Guns do not kill people, people kill people; and it is impossible to legislate against crazy.

Bad people will always find a way to acquire guns; it is up to us, the good people, to take a stand and say enough is enough. We must all get involved with our local and neighborhood crime watch organizations, be aware of our surroundings so we are not the next victims and most of all, “if you see something, say something.”

We, as good Americans, have a powerful ally to help us win this battle — the Second Amendment. It gives us the right to keep and bear arms. Protect that right and “God speed” to all that have fallen.
