Theft of urns

DEAR EDITOR:

I would like to give an “ONION” to the individuals who stole cemetery urns from Fairview cemetery in Mesopotamia. We take pride in planting those urns every year to line the driveway of our cemetery where our loved ones and veterans lie in rest.

The urns were placed there for a reason, many years ago, and then someone comes along and steals them? What a terrible thing to do! A cemetery is a sacred place and should be treated with dignity and grace. The Lord knows who did it, and that person will have to answer to Him someday.
