Vienna has problems
DEAR EDITOR:
I am an 80-year-old grandma and have never written a letter to a newspaper, politician or movie star, but I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore.
If I were looking for a community to buy a home and raise a family, Vienna would not make the list.
I hope the people that voted down the school levy don’t plan to sell their home any time soon because no one wants their child to attend school in a 100-year-old building that is falling apart.
Also in their backyard is a shooting range where penned animals are killed. I thought we were supposed to teach children it is cruel and unacceptable to harm animals in their homes.
I’m sure Vienna is a nice town with very nice people. Maybe they should start to rethink their values.
