Seeking Warren police memorabilia

DEAR EDITOR:

On Oct. 4, 1936, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #34 was organized in Warren, and last year, Warren FOP past and present members celebrated our 80th anniversary of service and commitment to our members and the citizens of Warren.

On May 6, 1867, the Warren Police Department was established and this year, we will celebrate our 150th anniversary, marking a century and a half of dedicated service to the citizens of Warren. Over the years, many things have changed in our community and the men and women, both past and present, still serve Warren with pride, integrity and guts. We are gathering photos, newspaper articles and memorabilia of our rich history, and I am asking past officers, their families and the citizens of this great city to celebrate with us.

If anyone has any old photos, newspaper clippings or memorabilia they can contribute to our archives, please contact me at 330-841-2725.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
