Fake news aired during Inauguration

DEAR EDITOR:

My news sources are limited. No cable, no dish, no computer, only a TV with an antenna, a radio and a newspaper. I read and hear both sides. One doesn’t need gadgets to understand fake or biased news.

During the inauguration, the aerial view showed a half-filled Mall. CBS’s sarcastic retort was “The voters must have buyer’s remorse; they are failing to show up.”

CBS wouldn’t report protesters were blocking streets and National Mall checkpoints were blocked by chained protesters. Around 11 a.m., an off-camera Mall reporter said, “It’s like the flood gates opened.”

No more cameras panned the Mall. CBS had their “fake” news aired. Veni, vidi, vici.

The coverage of fake or biased news can be summed up with a 2015 quote from the sage of the left, former U.S. Sen. Harry Reid.

“I lied. He didn’t win, did he.”
