Salvation Army kettles below goal
As thousands of people in Warren prepare for a joyful holiday season, thousands more are turning to The Salvation Army for help and assistance with food, clothing and other basic needs. However, to provide these services, we rely heavily on donations received during our annual Red Kettle campaign.
This year’s kettle goal is $150,000, and we are far below our goal with only a short time left in the giving season.
As an Officer at the Warren Corps, I see first-hand the joy and hope that we provide to so many seniors, single parents, veterans, homeless men and women, and families in need. With only a few days left, I urge my fellow residents to donate to our kettles, make an online donation at www.salvationarmyohio.org or to stop by The Salvation Army Corps at 270 Franklin St., SE, Warren, OH 44483. With a little help from a lot of people, we can ensure that we are able to help feed empty stomachs and hungry souls this winter, and all year long. Thank you for your consideration in helping us, help others.
