Question Trump’s character

DEAR EDITOR:

If Trump hadn’t been unmasked as a liar before, his need to explain what we all know – that Obama was born in the U.S. – should be proof.

So, true to form, he tried to lie his way out of his responsibility for the “birther” movement.

Even though he stuck to that lie for five years after our President released the long form of his birth certificate, in 2011, he brazenly and falsely claimed Hillary started that lie.

In that instant, he displayed two of his most egregious faults: (1) outright lying (as well as extreme exaggerating) and (2) his penchant to say anything (no matter how false or irrelevant) to attack an opponent or get his own way.

I just don’t understand how his followers are okay with his character.
