Column was political attack on Trump

DEAR EDITOR:

Opinion columnist Froma Harrop’s piece, “Donald Trump is mentally ill,” published Oct. 16, is offensive.

She has no medical educational accomplishments or professional training qualifying her in making any such diagnosis and reflects such vitriol accusations, while insulting those who have been medically diagnosed as “mentally ill.” This was a political attack and mean spirited shown by many in the political left. Froma Harrop failed to discuss the countless lies, some would say pathological lies, made, in part, by Hillary Clinton as follows:

Hillary claimed to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who climbed Mt. Everest in 1953. Hillary was born in 1947.

Hillary claimed they were “dead broke” when they left the White House. The left-leaning Politifact found this to be a lie.

During a speech on March 17, 2008, at George Washington University, Hillary said she came under sniper fire on a trip to Bosnia in March 1996.  According to John Pomfret of the Washington Post, the Tuzla Airport was “one of the safest places in Bosnia” and “firmly under the control of the 1st Armored Division.  Video of her landing proves this.

Hillary claimed her private e-mail server was set up in “accordance with the rules and regulations in effect.”  A federal judge said she violated government policy.

Before the American people, Hillary said there was nothing marked classified on her private e-mail either sent or received.  FBI Director Comey under sworn testimony before the House said, “That is not true.”

The most egregious of all was when Hillary lied about the terrorist attack in Benghazi, where four brave Americans, Amb. Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, were killed!  She blamed it on a YouTube video, while e-mailing her daughter it was a terrorist attack.  She continued this lie while standing over the four flag-draped coffins plus maintaining this lie to the families of the fallen.  Reprehensible!

Some of these lies may be connected to criminal activity, one of which is perjury as a beginning and ultimately to the security of our country by using an unauthorized and unsecured server which there is a possibility of being hacked by unfriendly characters.  Additionally, Hillary tells Wall Street that she has a “public position” while maintaining a “private position.” Which one is the truth and which one is a lie? In all fairness to her readers, Froma Harrop should address  Hillary Clinton’s countless lies both past and ongoing instead of coming to a diagnosis which she is unqualified to do.
