Tribune gets ‘onion’ for zoning vote stance

I would like to give the Tribune Chronicle an ”onion” for its criticism of the Lordstown Planning Commission for rejecting the zoning change for the natural gas energy plant.

One third of Lordstown is already zoned industrial and we would all like to see the plant come to one of those properties. If they wanted to build this plant in any other town in a residential area it would certainly be rejected.

Zoning laws were made to protect citizens and I would like to thank the planning commission for upholding these laws.
