Interns should have been reprimanded

This letter is about the recent article, ”Engineer’s office worker is suspended.”

The bad judgment by the seasonal employee should also extend to the two interns who contributed to the event. Their participation in the act made them equally responsible for the poor judgment. The fact they filmed the moment and filed a letter with the union confirms they knew the decision was incorrect.

The five-day suspension should extend to all three individuals. This would positively reinforce that safety is everyone’s responsibility and good judgment resides with each employee not a select few.
