Mullet victim of Amish witch hunt

After languishing in jail, often in solitary confinement, for more than 400 consecutive days, Amish Bishop Sam Mullet will be put behind bars for the rest of his life, if federal persecutors have their way.

For what? Having knowledge that some members of his devout congregation cut hair without permission?

Murderers, child molesters, armed robbers and rapists have received lighter sentences than life for their genuinely heinous crimes.

To call these cruel and unusual punishments facing the Amish a miscarriage of justice is a gross understatement. They are judicial lynchings designed to crush the Bergholz Amish Church District and accelerate the steady decline and disappearance of authentic Amish culture by vulture culture.

Outside the Stokes Federal Building, where this anti-Amish witch hunt took place, stands an ugly statue of a half-dressed armless and headless woman. Now we know she, like the federal witch hunters pushing for maximum punishment in this sordid case and the biased federal judge presiding over it, is also heartless.
