Amanda Moronti-Forster 1973-2018
LAMBERTVILLE, Mich. — Amanda J. Moronti-Forster, age 44, of Lambertville, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the University of Michigan.
She was born Nov. 5, 1973, to John and Rosemary Blase Moronti in Warren.
After graduating from Warren G. Harding High School, she went on to receive her master’s degree in psychology at the University of Toledo. For over 20 years, she practiced as a psycho-therapist and family counselor who especially enjoyed working with children. She was an avid softball player throughout her life and in her spare time she enjoyed helping others, spending time with family and friends, gardening, playing with her dogs and attending concerts.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Forster; mother, Rosemary Moronti; stepdaughter, Maci Forster; sisters, Sharon Fitzgerald (Shon Hilles), Rebecca Fire (Chris Holder) and Lorraine Smith; nephews, Alex and Nick Fitzgerald; niece, Ash Smith; in-laws, Larry and Pam Forster and Gina and Lee Miller; sister-in-law, Emily (Bob) Hoorman; along with many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father, John; and brother, David.
The family will receive guests 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Newcomer-Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Road, 419-473-0300, with her memorial service starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
