Maud A. Gearhart 1935-2018

WARREN — Maud Ann Baker Gearhart, 83, of Warren, passed away Tuesday morning, June 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

She was born March 13, 1935, in Hanover, Pa., the daughter of the late Tom Hollinger and Marjorie Amos Baker.

She graduated from Trinity High School in Washington, Pa., attended Penn State University and received her ASCP Certification from Monmouth Memorial Hospital of Medical Technology.

Ann and her family lived in Valencia, Pa. and Medford, N.J. before moving to Ohio in 2002.

She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was an animal lover and cherished her many pets throughout the years.

She is survived by her son, Scott R. (Marie Elena) of Sicklerville, N.J.; a daughter, Susan G. Davis of Howland; and three grandsons, Gordon Gearhart, Josh Davis and Colin Davis.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brother, David A. Baker; and her husband of 58 years, Charles R. Gearhart, whom she married Jan. 28, 1956.

A private service will be held Monday, June 18, 2018, with interment to follow at Mount Royal Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
