Jacquelyn L. Kish 1950-2018

BRISTOLVILLE — Jacquelyn Louise Kachenko Kish, 67, of Bristolville, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Saturday morning, May 12, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 9, 1950, in Warren, the oldest daughter of the late John and Margaret Volhardt Kachenko Jr.

Jackie was a longtime resident and graduate of Bristol High School. She worked various jobs, beginning with Geauga Industries. She was also an aide on the buses for the Fairhaven School. She then worked in the bakery at Cook’s Market, and retired in 2016 from Johnsonite in Middlefield after 25 years.

She married David M. Kish on Feb. 3, 1969, and they recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. He survives her.

Jackie was a member of the Cortland Moose Lodge. She enjoyed gardening, karaoke, crocheting, sewing, golfing, making pepperoni rolls and socializing.

Besides her husband, Jackie is survived by her four children, David J. Kish of Bristolville, Valerie (Steve) Mullens of West Virginia, Kimberly (Robin) Cranson of Colorado, and Andrew (Kelly) Kish of Lordstown. She also leaves behind a sister, Jayne Kachenko; and eight grandchildren who were the joy of her heart, Eric (Libby) Owens, David, Daniel and Katie Mullens, Corrin, Jaiden and Davin Cranson and Makenzie Kish.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Kachenko; and a sister, Karen Sawastuk.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 North Park Ave., Warren, with Pastor Fred Keener officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home. Jackie will be laid to rest in the Sager Memorial Cemetery, Bristolville.
