Robert L. Brett 1947-2017

Brett was born Jan. 18, 1947, in Johnstown, Pa., the son of David and Betty Brett.

He had been employed as a semi-truck driver for 37 years and enjoyed working on vehicles.

Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce Sutton Brett; his children, Robert (Dawn) Brett Jr., Rebel Brett, David (Kim) Brett, Lee (Kellie) Brooks, Tabitha (Daniel) Brainard, Theresa (Sheldon) Wilson, Echo Brett, Heather Levelle, Misty Levelle, Cecelia Brett, Bobbi (Kevin) Hamner, Latoya Harrison and Frederick Harrison; 34 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronny Brett; and sisters, Annie Hitchcock and Shirley Brett.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Brooks; a grandson, John Shamrock Jr.; and his two best friends, Sandra Levelle and Tex Cleveland.

The family will hold a private event for family and friends.
