Juana A. Zahoransky 1934-2017

FARMDALE — Juana A. Zahoransky, 83 years young, of Farmdale, went to Heaven on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber in Columbus.

She was born May 18, 1934, to the late Silvestre and Ruth Alonzo Aguayo. Juana was a graduate of John Hay High School. Juana was a die-hard Cleveland Indians fan. She loved hearing her Indians on the radio and watching them on TV. The Indians Stadium was her second home growing up in Cleveland. Juana was extremely proud of her Mexican heritage, always telling people about her ancestors and the fabulous Mexican food she would make from scratch. She was a fun loving, giving and energetic woman. Her passions included cooking, cross stitch and listening to music. Above all, Juana adored her family and friends, especially her 11 grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joann Z. (Steven) Spencer, Susan Z. (Phil) Manente, Mary Z. (Chris) Roberts and Stephen T. (Tracey) Zahoransky; grandchildren; siblings, Lupe Zeock, Josephine Morris, Cathy Land and Julie Horner; and special friend, Sherrie Shantz-Elmore.

Juana was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen B. Zahoransky.

Friends may visit noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at the Dwayne Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Road N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
