Kenneth S. Rausch 1964-2017

ERIE, Pa. — Kenneth S. Rausch, 53, of Erie, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 13, 1964, in Warren, a son of Janet Garland Rausch and the late Eugene Rausch.

Ken graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School in Warren, Class of 1982, and attended the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in electrical engineering.

He was a route salesman for Frito Lay for 33 years.

Ken enjoyed the Cleveland Browns, NASCAR, country music, great barbecuing and home improvements.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Deborah Mando Rausch; children, Jacob (Destiny) Rausch, Chloe (Tyler) Webb and Austin Rausch; three grandchildren, MaKenna, Christian and Anberlin Rausch, all of Erie; two brothers, Micheal (Lisa) Rausch of Columbus and John (Christina) Rausch of Newark; and three sisters, Terri Gray of Warren, Sherrie (Patrick) Hogan of Warren and Bonnie (Donald) Hackett of Florida.

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive, along with many brothers- and sisters- in-law, and his father-in-law, Richard Mando Sr., along with many dear friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Nancy Mando; maternal grandparents, Ray and Jean Garland; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Eleanor Rausch.

Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St. A time of sharing is 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, Pa. 16505, and the West Lake Fire Department, 3762 Westlake Road, Erie, Pa. 16505.

The family would like to thank the staffs of AseraCare Hospice and The Regional Cancer Center, and his niece Amanda Beganics, who provided wonderful care, and also Westlake Middle School faculty and staff.
