Robert W. Bush


JAMESTOWN, Pa. — Robert W. Bush, 85, of North Summit Road, Jamestown, Pa., passed away Friday morning July, 21, 2017, at his residence.

He was born July 28, 1931, in Jamestown, a son of G.D. and Ruth McBroom Bush.

He was a graduate of Jamestown High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

On Aug. 10, 1953, he married the former Nila Barham; she survives.

He attended Jamestown Presbyterian Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob was a farmer and worked on the family farm for 64 years.

He is survived by his wife of Jamestown; two sons, Gregory (Susan) Bush of Conneaut Lake and Dennis Bush of San Diego; a daughter, Paula (Ken) Bohlen of Jamestown; seven grandchildren, Kristin Rebstock, Meagan Waters, Adam London, Drew London, Carly London, Miles Bush and Shelby Bush; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Fisk.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at the family farm, 504 N. Summit Road, Jamestown, with the Rev. Paul Leone officiating. Inurnment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Loutzenhiser-Randall Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 416 Liberty St., Jamestown.
