Louise A. Muzuruk

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Louise Ann Muzuruk, 85, of Johnson City, Tenn., passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, in Hillview Health Center.

She was born April 20, 1932, in Chicora, Pa., a daughter of Harry and Myrtle Sanderson, and she lived most of her life in Trumbull County.

Louise was an excellent seemstress and was employed as a bank teller and bookkeeper.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Dottie) Gossett, Robert (Colleen) Cherry and James S. (Mary Jane) Cherry; three daughters, Catherine (Loren, deceased) Phillips, Cynthia (Bruce) Jones and Shirley Cherry; two brothers, DeWayne (Marilyn) Sanderson and Harry (Rose) Sanderson; sister, Rose (Joe, deceased) Zerbe; ex-husband, Louis Gossett Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James R. Cherry; her husband of seven years, Richard Muzuruk; her parents, Harry and Myrtle Sanderson; father-in-law, James W. Cherry; two brothers, Lester Sanderson and Carl Sanderson; three granddaughters, Kimberly Gossett, Annette Phillips and Angel Long-Whitt; and one great-grandson, Leo Avery Phillips.

Graveside services were held Wednesday at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery.
